Every site wants a new account with a username and a password, which you must remember and which the site must protect.

With Bisotun

The login page shows a QR code. You scan it, see the request in your wallet and tap Share. This is how you log in to your own My Bisotun account page today, and any website registered with Bisotun can offer the same login.

What is shared

Your wallet's account ID, a random number with no personal information in it.

What stays private

Your name, your cards, your PIN. There is no password to leak or reset.

Good to know: the account ID is the same towards every website, so sites that compare notes could recognise it; and it changes if you reset your wallet. That is why websites will usually prefer the verified email card below once it is available.

Identity and age

Prove you are over 18

A shop or platform asks for a scan of your ID, which shows your name, photo, document number and exact date of birth.

With Bisotun

An organization that has checked your age issues an age card with ready-made answers such as "over 16: yes", "over 18: yes". The shop asks only for "over 18".

What is shared

"Over 18: yes".

What stays private

Your date of birth, your name and your exact age.

A service needs to know you are over 18. It does not need your birthday. Note that the issuer has to put these yes/no answers on the card; Bisotun cannot calculate them from a date of birth at the moment of sharing.

Verify who you are

Before

You fill in your name and date of birth, upload both sides of an ID card and take a selfie, and wait for someone to review it.

With Bisotun

An organization that has verified your identity, for example at a registration desk, issues a personal details card. A service asks for exactly the fields it needs, for example your full name.

What is shared

Only the requested fields, such as given name and family name.

What stays private

Date of birth, nationality and other fields you were not asked for.

Bisotun does not issue identity cards itself, and a card from a Bisotun issuer is not a government ID.

Education and work

Show your diploma

Organizations can issue

Before

You send a scanned certificate. The employer or admissions office phones or writes to the university to check it.

With Bisotun

Your university issues a diploma card when you graduate. The employer asks for degree and institution and checks the university's signature in seconds.

What is shared

Institution, degree and field of study (and your name, if they ask for it).

What stays private

Grades, student number, date of birth.

Cards cannot yet be withdrawn before they expire, so an issuer of licences would choose a short validity and renew cards regularly.

One request asks for several facts from several cards at once, for example name from a personal details card, city from an address card and a verified email address. You review them together and approve once.

Combining several cards in one request already works in the software. Whether a Bisotun-based check satisfies a particular legal onboarding requirement depends on your sector and your regulator.
